We...Welp, I posted about this at your hubby's site. We have all kinds of people at the shop, the good, the bad and the ugly (well, maybe what I call "comic book snobs", appearance isn't involved it's attitude). Yep, we have some people that have problems with personal ummmm odors at times, but have the stone-throwers at comic folk been to a downtown library in America? There are people that I would declare dead and rotten if they didn't get up from their roll and sleeping bags in the aisles to get a newspaper or drink of water. And we tell our friends, hey man, go home, clean up, don't come in from football practice or work and smell up the joint. And there are fan girls (grrls), girlfriends, wives and of course the unstoppable anime/manga gals that might buy one book only, but that counts too. My bride has a collection of Batman that goes back almost solid to the '70s. I love these blanket insulting statements. I guess only nerds and geeks living in Mom and Dad's basement and attics were the only ones to see Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith? Since it made $70 plus million that first midnight showing and averaging a ticket between $6 and $8 dollars, that means 10 million people saw the movie first showing. 10 million nerds of voting age. Be afraid then, bashers, 'cause we're coming for you and we're taking your lunch money and spending it on pizza and comics...Carlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642758191046222448noreply@blogger.com
