I am also happy to hear that you got to take your daughter to a show. That sounds wonderful! Sorry about being sick though. :-(

As for the WW movie, I am sure I have jinxed it, so I am now going to go hide under my blanket.Heidi Meeleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01436991028382498324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7747146.post-78523443695657988192007-02-04T19:45:00.000-08:002007-02-04T19:45:00.000-08:00John, I am still relieved at Whedon's WW falling t...John, I am still relieved at Whedon's WW falling through, but am a bit nervous, because God knows how a new team might do things.

Crap. They're not going to make it until that Lindsey Lohan is on it, are they? I have just jinxed things.Heidi Meeleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01436991028382498324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7747146.post-463695280594327932007-02-03T22:41:00.000-08:002007-02-03T22:41:00.000-08:00Welp, according to what I have read, it's two new ...Welp, according to what I have read, it's two new guys that no one has ever heard of before. Sssssssoooooooo, that means Wonder Woman could come out, if it's made, according these guys, with no track record. If it gets made. I am a big Whedon fan and felt like I could trust him not to let the fans down. He understands comics and has had references to them in all his works (outside of Firefly/Serenity- since that's 500 years from now) and of course wrote more then a few. I would have to say now my interest in the new Wonder Woman went from very interested and definitely seeing it opening day, taking my family and more, to zip, zero, nada.

And on the con front, I took my daughter Sammie to her first grown-up con, FX Con, last weekend. We had a blast and she got to meet a lot of folks I knew she would want to see. And then we all got sick from a horrible stomach bug, me being the last to get it. And I am also a bit depressed since it looks like unless there is divine intervention, I am missing my first Megacon since the '90s. I hope you will have a good time at yours and make up for mine. Butttttt, then again, I did chose to attend FX with my girl and while I will miss being with my friends at Megacon, many years they have been a huge pain-in-the-buttocks. One day I should write this all down.
Anyway, I'm back, almost on the complete mend and hope things are going well...Carlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06642758191046222448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7747146.post-13796582156307399722007-02-03T20:42:00.000-08:002007-02-03T20:42:00.000-08:00Hope you have a great time at the con. I think (and I'm terrible with names so I don't remember hers) the female from his tv show Serenity would have made a great Wonder Woman. But I do have to wonder about his version, since his shows tends to be very pop referenced and I can't see Wonder Woman going that route.John Hollandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11714537622409205603noreply@blogger.com
