Three Years of Blogging Goodness!
As a female blogger, I have watched the industry change and have kept a running opinion on it. There have been moments of great disgust mingled with the lure of new opportunity. I have watched the community of females with their own sites grow immeasurably. and have seen a diversification of opinions within the feminists I interact with. It is a mystery and a delight in which I am happy to be included. We aren't all made out of one cookie cutter, and I appreciate our diversity.
I started at 4 Color Review back in 2000, and when it changed and became Kung Fu Rodeo, I saw that it was time for me to step back and let Steve and the guys take their vision to a different place then I was going. Bless Steve for the opportunity he gave me- I will always treasure it. My reviews evolved and grew under his tutelage. I didn't even know what a blog was until he changed 4 Color's format, so I am in his debt.
Here I sit today wondering what the future will bring. It is full of great opportunity, and I can hardly wait to see what will happen. Thank you to all of you who have supported me unconditionally and have given me the courage to go on. James Schee, you gave me my first link. John Jakala, you took a chance on me as well! I will remember you guys for that!
Thank you to my friends and special thanks to my hubby for his encouragement and support. Without him I wouldn't have had the courage to get a booth at Emerald City Comicon two years in a row and promote my "silly" site. It has been fantastic!
Here is a toast to the next several years of fairplay! Thank you all so much!
