Random Thoughts and Musings Part Two

I shocked myself yesterday. I took the day off blogging. It was a weird day and I have a mean canker sore and a bad infection, so I was taking lots of good stuff. Between that and just generally being listless, I declined to post.

After reading random notes to myself from yesterday, I am very glad I did so. God knows what I did at work yesterday morning. I know I went to the Central Washington State Fair yesterday afternoon and had a very nice time with my dad, who was in town for a couple of days. I even walked up and down the fairgrounds multiple times. Then Dad left and I took Jim to dinner. We got home and I vegged the rest of the night. My biggest recollection of that was seeing Tom Selleck on Las Vegas and thinking how pleased Jim's mom would be as she is a big fan of the Magnum P.I. hottie.

So here I am today. I feel much improved after 14 hours of solid sleep and a mild workout this afternoon. I am going to spend tonight vegging again, and am planning to watch Metal Mania on VH-1 Classic until I fall asleep. Crazy, high-action gal I am, huh? I just have got to get rid of this damn canker sore. It is killing me. My dad did tell me it is genetic and that his mom used to get them. Then I called my sister and she said that both she and her son get them. I feel sad for my family now.

A couple of days ago, my friend Lisa at Sequentially Speaking had the suggestion of sharing horror stories, especially if they happened during the full moon, which we believe could be part of the phenomenon. I shared mine on Wednesday and Lisa had the customers from hell. Her post blew me away. Her customers were nightmares from hell to be sure.

In that spirit, either as a meme, or posting here, share your horror story. What better way to get something off your chest then to talk it out? I would happily lend a sympathetic ear.

Tomorrow I will be back with comic book reviews, so I will see you then. Have a wonderful evening!

I'm going to have to think about that one. I've been in retail for over twenty five years so I've go some horror stories.
