On a personal note, today is the first anniversary of Jim's blog, The Comic Asylum, so if you get a chance, go over and check it out!

Not as much bad news today, as the biggest event was my assistant resigning. I am sad about this because it makes me stressed about who will handle my work during my surgery, but there isn't much I can do but role with the punches!

Take care and have a great evening! I am going to sit in front of the television tonight and rot my brain watching "The Biggest Loser", "My Name is Earl", and "The Office". It won't solve my problems, but it will give me some escape!

I really do promise I am trying to get back on track and do my up and coming female character list before the week is out!

Yes, it's finally IC #2 day. I'm forcing myself to avoid certain spoiler-prone quarters of the Internet until I get to my comic store this afternoon.

I read IC today, and it was great. I am interested to see where this is going, and if we are going to have the multi verse back at the end. Too cool.

What did you think?

Am enjoying IC, too. I thought Animal Man's departure from his family and PG's moment of clarity about her past each struck the right emotional tone. However, Kal-l's plan to "bring back the right earth" has some ominous overtones; Wonder Woman's situation looks none too promising; and Batman is, well, still his dark, angry self. I look forward to #3.

I really enjoyed the "small things" that made the book such a compelling read. It is one of those stories so far that can handle more then one read and be fresh. I am with you on eagerly awaiting #3. If it continues this way, it will be a milestone like the original Crisis was.

I loved it myself. And as a Silver Age comics fan, I found myself agreeing with the view of the GA Superman. The DC world since the original Crisis is one messed-up place. One of the guy's said that sounded like Parallax terrority. I said, yeah, but imagine, the original DC Universe back, all the bad horrible things undone. Probably won't happen, but one can dream...

I think GA Superman's getting a seriously filtered view of the world, and that there's a much bigger antagonist looming ahead.

But right now, this looks like an awesome conflict shaping up. The Original Superhero vs. the Entire DC Universe

I can hardly wait to see what goes down in issue 3. With the Golden Age Superman in the state he is in, and with Power Girl and Superboy Prime right there with him, it should make for some serious fighting. Also, only God knows what is up with all the Luthors. That should be interesting.

I agree that the resurgence of the Pre-Crisis characters is one of the coolest things to happen for awhile.

I also like the fact that Infinite Crisis has made me really be excited about reading comics. It reminds me of the last Crisis. I had to get the newest issue ASAP so I could figure out what was happening next. Spine tingling, cool stuff.
