It is no secret that Rob Liefeld is never going to be a creator I appreciate. I don't dig his art, and his interviews make me cringe.
But that is just the surface of it all.
I really HATE that he doesn't finish what he starts. Books get solicited, or a title gets going, and it never gets done. If I had a dollar for every time a book got hyped and never appeared, I would be pretty well off.
My anal desire to see things finished is in complete disagreement with the way Liefeld does business. We will never see eye to eye, so why try?
Having never met Liefeld, there isn't a personal dislike at all, I want to make that clear. Plain and simple, I don't like his business practices and I don't like his style.
That's enough about that.

Welp, I saw him a few years back at Megacon. He was basically managing other people's tables and not even signing. I was stunned, the fans with the except of a few were shunning him. And after finding out how his did his bidness it was not a shocker after that...
Yeah, Liefeld is an anomaly that way.
He was at the Emerald City Comicon this year and fans were really digging him. He signed their books and did sketches. I could find nothing wrong with that behavior at all.
It is his business practices that have me all up in arms. I just can't stand it! I wish he would follow through on his projects.
Scott, you know me too well! Poor Rob just can't get a break here, can he?
I love the idea of getting rid of his "yes" men for a team that would get Rob refocused on creating. God Forbid someone gives him heck for missing every deadline possible!
That is definitely a wonderful idea. What the man has in personality, he lacks in discipline. It is a shame, really!
