Bronchitis Sucks

After a LONG week in Idaho I am back home and suffering from bronchitis. We worked 13 hour days and it kinda bit me in the butt. I should note that it was a productive, good week, so as to not make it sound too awful. I am glad I made the trip, just a bit downtrodden about the end result. My family thinks I was more susceptible to illness from making so many trips the last three weeks and from working out so hard at the end of the contest, so it is probably a bit my fault.

I really appreciate all your great comments while I was gone. I promise to respond to them tomorrow! I also want to thank my husband for his help while I was gone. Thank you, Dear!

It was a strange week in that I didn't listen to any of my "metal" this week. There was either no music playing or there was country music, so I was really going through withdrawals. I have been listening to my tunes since the minute I have gotten home. I had my iPod with me, but there wasn't much opportunity to listen to it. When we rode down to Jerome, it was three of us and we discussed business. Then we worked 13 hour days and then I got sick. It all added up to no music and not much television.

At any rate, I am sick as a dog and I am now going to go collapse on my couch. Thank God for the wonderful doctor who prescribed me several excellent drugs! I feel better today then I did yesterday and for that I am very thankful. Sleeping in my own bed tonight should be the icing on the cake.

Have a great night! I am very happy to be back and I missed you all!

Thank you! I slept for 14 hours last night, and that helped a lot. I went to bed really early and just let myself sleep. I don't do it very often, but I really felt like crap.

I still need to mail your stuff, by the way. I am so slow!

Dag, that sounds rough -- I've never had it, but, I wouldn't want to experience that at all. Feel better Heidi!

My mom, sis and nephew used to get that all the time, so I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I even had a goofy friend that smoked and had it and never learned the cigs were making it much, much worse.
It's been a good/bad week here. Our sissy-biker girlfriend-beater got arrested again. Took away in handcuffs, the whole 9 yards and on the Hillsborough Co. Jail website, it said for domestic violence. Again. I hope this is the end for this guy. Buttttt, my bride looked this morning and some blankey-blank blanker bailed his worthless hide out. Or maybe he had it, who knows. But at least he hasn't shown up and his nitwit girlfriend has had family and friends over in case he does. I hope anyway.
And, again, I've had it with my comics shop. Last Thursday was "Bash-DC-Comics-And-DC-Fans" part whatever it's up to. And somehow it got to the point of Scott and his Barely Canny Yes-Men saying nothing had happened in Marvel before 2000. Huh? Oh, you mean to say that, 'cause it's the greatest its ever been? How lame. So, one of our guys repeated this on the store's message board, got some replies and then...... they deleted the whole message board. And blamed us. Customer service to the hilt! So, not going to the shop nor paying cash money to be told my personal choices and what I love sucks. So, never mind boycotting Marvel, now it's my store and I've got a bad taste in my mouth when I think of comics. Thanks Scott!

Welcome back Heidi. While James did a great job posting, it wasn't the same without your comments. Get some rest, take some of those good drugs, and feel better soon.

Bahlactus, it is yucky stuff. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! Thank you for the kind wishes! I feel much better today.

Carl, I am sorry about the crappy week, my friend. It sounds like your shop has all sorts of controversy, and several stubborn fanboys who are going to drive you to oblivion. It will always have people like that, unfortunately. I am hoping things get better soon!

Swinebread, thank you so much! I think I felt the mental projections of health improvement here for sure!

Lisa, the hubby did a wonderful job while I was gone. I was so happy he took care of things. I wish he would start another blog, but he is such a controversy magnet that I believe he thinks it is a bit futile. Maybe someday!

Thank you for supporting him while I wasn't here! You are a nice lady!

hello miss heidi my friend!
seems we were both sent the bad sickiness during your trip. I had a fever between 102 and 103 for 2 days, but Kirk was the best caregiver a woman could ask for (much like Jim with your blog he kept things moving around here and supported me and was a sweetheart) even though I look like a shedevil from hell right now.

Get better friend, talk with you soon!

Pamela, I am so sorry to hear about how ill you were! I am glad to hear that you are feeling better! It sounds like you had a nasty bug! I am happy Kirk was there for you to nurse you back to health.

I am feeling much better today, so that is a relief! I am still looking a bit odd from the prednisone, but tomorrow is my last dose, so hopefully my swelling will go down and my ring will fit on my hand!

Take care, my friend!
