Quiet Sunday

After not missing a daily post for awhile, life outside of blogging took first priority. My dad and I went to a family funeral yesterday in Ephrata, Washington and ended up spending the evening with family. It was a sad reason to get together, but it was nice to see my relatives and catch up. We had a great visit and my cousin Brian barbequed. We didn't get back to my house until almost midnite, so it made for a long day.

Because of unexpected things that have happened at work, and because of family situations, I haven't read any of my comic books or any of the stuff I got at the convention. Unfortunately, the situation isn't going to improve for awhile. I need to make a business trip Tuesday and it is an open ended one, so I don't know when I will be back. Blogging will be sporadic for the next week and then I should be back on a regular schedule.

Tomorrow night I will be back with my "new comics" post, and then possibly won't post again until Friday. I am really bummed out about this, as my daily posts and interaction are a positive force in my life that I enjoy very much.

Thank you for your kindness in this matter.

Have a wonderful week!

Sometimes you can't help it, life has to take a step over blogging. You've got to take care of what's important first.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of a relative.

Hope the business trip isn't as bad as some of them can be. For awhile I used to have to travel almost every month and it got old after awhile. Thankfully I haven't had to go on any trips for awhile.

Take your time and get everything right than come back here, we'll still be waiting for you. Have a good week.

Hang in there, Heidi.

Sorry to hear you've hit a bit of a "rough patch", Heidi. The good thing, of course, is that you have your friends, family and, of course, your hubby to help you through it.

Take all the time you need, and don't worry about "feeding the blogging beast".

Here's hoping things start looking up for you!

Heidi,

The latest POISON/RATT 2007 TOUR UPDATE might just cheer you up:)

I'm really getting stoked about this tour--but I'm starting to get worried that they won't pass through WA & OR. (I didn't hear about the Poison/Cinderella tour last summer because they didn't play in Portland).

With all of these great 80's Hair Metal bands being added to the line-up, we might just have to travel to see it in the closest city (w/DOKKEN) to us--WE CAN'T miss this one!!!

John, thank you for your kind words. You are very sweet!

I am praying that the trip will be fruitful and that we can get our work done in an expedient, professional manner. It shouldn't be bad. The 8 hour drive is the hard part!

Thank you again. I am doing better today!

Mark, I really appreciate your words. It helps me feel better about not being able to blog "fresh entries". I love my blog and it is a kind of strange addiction. I guess it is better then drugs :-)

Take care! I will see you soon!

Kirk, I couldn't access the link, but I am psyched anyway! That would be so awesome! I would love to see that concert. I am crossing my fingers that they come to the Pacific Northwest! Maybe we can make an adventure out of it?

Thank you so much, my brother!
