As I check several of the comic book related websites and blogs, one thing is crystal clear: many of you are gearing up for the San Diego Comicon. It is sure to be a huge media event, and it attracts so many fans that Saturday has already sold out. I can hardly imagine the breadth and scope of such a major event, and I will admit to being jealous that so many of you are going! It sounds like a good time!
Occasional Superheroine and The Beat will both be there covering events so I am sure their reports will be comprehensive. Mark from Comic Coverage is making a family trip out of it and I can hardly wait to hear about it! Head over to his site and see his survival tips- they are totally amazing and cool! Newsarama and Comic Book Resources are sure to pull out all the stops as well!
Where will I be in the midst of all this? I will be out of town with no internet access from Thursday until Sunday. This means that I will not be aware of any news until I get back into town. My beloved husband is staying at home, so he will be my eyes and ears so if any hot breaking news hits, he will let me know. I simply will not be able to post about it until I get back. Them is the breaks. I don't want to change my plans as they have been in place for a long time, so a bit of sensory deprivation won't be the end of the world.
That being said, I will have a few entries already done, and the hubby will post them. Otherwise, it will be blackout for a few. Crazy.
Tomorrow Wonder Woman #11 is coming out. After the poor resolution to the Diana-Hyppolyta confrontation in Amazons Attack, I am pretty much over this whole business. I am scared to read the issue as I don't want to be disappointed. Arrgghhh!
Thank you again for all the kind birthday wishes! I feel so loved! :-) Tomorrow is another celebration for me as it is my three year blogoversary. There will be a post of sorts about that tomorrow. I can hardly believe it has been that long!
Not much more to tell. I had to lift weights for over two hours tonight because I won't be able to do so on Thursday. I am one sore woman. I dread how my body will feel tomorrow. Two ibuprofen, stat!

Welp, I am kind of seething with bitterness since I was supposed to go and my plans hit a giant rock in the waterways of life. And looks like barring a miracle, Dragon*Con is out too. At least I get in free to Tampacon next month...
Carl, I am sorry to hear that! I have been pretty much dissed by the comic show Gods myself. I have no idea what my next show will be!
