I really want to read this book. I have a plan of getting the collected GNs at the New Year's 50 percent sale at my shop. Last year, when things were not so tight, I spent $165 and got great deals. I have no clue if I will be able to do the same. Oh yes, I love Kirkman's zombie sage, "The Walking Dead", I'm a major horror and zombie fan. I know you don't seem to care for horror but his TWD series is much more. The characters are very real and the story just flows. I hate to see a book end reading it so fast. Also, I have heard "Brit" is good but very violent, I want to get those too...

I have read Brit, and it is cool stuff. It is kind of in the vein of Kirkman's other super hero stuff. I like Brit a great deal, it has a little bit of Garth Ennis type humor mixed with a traditional Captain America vibe.

As for The Walking Dead, I read it right after seeing 28 Days Later, and it just didn't gel. I still am not into it. Horror wise, I love Swamp Thing though. I haven't had an opportunity to read much of it since my focus has been on Super Heroes for so long. I do have a huge love for all things Vertigo, especially Preacher back in the day and Fables and Swamp Thing now.

If you get the cash, definitely pick up Invincible. That is how I got into it- I picked up the first trade. Good stuff!
