Gonna try. Hope you and your hubby have a great Christmas and all that. I am also glad I found both your sites. See ya when I see you guys, boobye!
How was the Xmas holiday? I hope it was wonderful! Ours was nice. We hated to go back to reality!
It was pretty good. At first I was blue, we were staying home here in Florida and nearly all my relatives are in Kentucky and Arizona. But, I woke up in a good mood (on Christmas Eve) and my kids had a really good time too. And there's still more to come, the in-laws are supposed to come in Jan. and there's the big 50 percent off sale at my comic shop on Friday. So, lots still to come...
How was your New Year, Carl? I hope it was wonderful and restful. Jim and I sat at home and chilled. It was nice.
Take care!
I was at the comic shop at the New Year's Party/50 percent at midnight sale. I got to see pretty much all the regs and a bunch of people I haven't seen in a long time. It was a madhouse and I didn't even try to get rung up till all the customers went through the line. I think I finally got my purchases paid for at 1:20am or so. I am posting pictures of the madness at my yahoo photos site soon.
Oh yes, my haul (at half price) was Space Ghost #1 (I wanted a 2nd copy and they got them back in at $5), Blade: Black & White graphic novel, The Wicked West gn, Fire gn by BMB, Hellboy: Wake The Devil gn, an Adam Strange action figure, Samurai Executioner digest #2, The Walking Dead gn #2 and The Art of Greg Horn. Not as big as last year (I set the record at $165) but a good bunch of stuff that I wanted and for half price, yesssssssss! Welp, glad ya'll had a safe New Year's...
It sounds like you had a great time and got great deals at the same time! That can't be beat!
It was snowy and crappy here, so we stayed in and huddled down. I really missed Dick Clark this year.
Take care!
