It has been awhile since a song has hit me right in the heart, but on this week's Metal Mania, I heard a new tune that I absolutely fell in love with. Sixx A.M., a band featuring Motley Crue bassist and songwriter Nikki Sixx, slay me with "Life is Beautiful", a song from the upcoming Heroin Diaries soundtrack. Give it a look! I know it isn't comic book related but it is cool!

Saw the Twitter - glad to see you figured out the video blog feature. Now I hope we can all look forward to a cool (and possibly gratuitous) weekly metal video. LOL!

Hey, it's your blog - you make the rules. If you want to rock out once a week, that's your prerogative.
Besides, there are two bands making comics now - who is to say there won't be more. See, there is ALWAYS a connection that can be made.
Lisa, excellent point on the band and comic connection! It made me think of Glenn Danzig and his Verotik books! :-)
I am definitely pondering making this a regular feature, so hopefully it works out.. I will test it out again soon. Freedom of choice is a beautiful thing!
