That is okay, it will all balance out and I will sleep like a baby tonight!

My list of new comics is not getting any shorter so we are about to have a MayDay situation soon. Tell me, is there a rehab available for comic addicts? Maybe I could go hang with Lindsey Lohan there? OR maybe there is a support group I could join? "Hi, my name is Heidi and I collect way too many comics". Heh.

Here is the list:

Batman #667
Black Adam The Dark Age #1 (of 6)
Countdown #38
Fables #64
Gen 13 #11
Green Arrow Year One #3 (of 6)
Green Lantern #22
Outsiders Five of a Kind Week 2 -man this started lame. I hope it improves.
Stormwatch PHD #10 - pictured!
Dynamo 5 #6
Daredevil #99
Incredible Hulk #109
New Avengers #33
Powers #25
Punisher War Journal #10
Ultimate X-Men #85
X-Factor #22
Boys #9
Red Sonja #25

Yikes. I better start attending those meetings soon, huh? To make things worse, my comic shop didn't get in Punisher Max #50 or Queen & Country last week, so I am missing stuff. I really want to move to Lisa's town where there is an awesome shop and the proprietor and I could have WAY too much fun!!

Have a great night all!

Heidi-

If your town has a public library, you might want to see if they carry any trade collections of the titles you're currently buying. Sure, you have to not only "wait for the trade", but you also have to wait for the library to get it in its system, but for me at least, the wait is worth it...and I can save alot of money in the process.

I've been reading a number of series from issue one in trade form with library copies...such as "Y: The Last Man", "Fables", "Invincible", or whatever strikes my fancy (such as Wedon's X-Men or the recent Civil War trade). That's at least one way to cut down on comic book expenses.

Speaking of "cutting down", I've got a pretty short list of comics this week...color-themed, even!

1. Black Adam: I'll give it a shot...though I'm not sure the tale deserves six issues.

2. Green Lantern: More Sinestro Corps! Yeah!

And...thazzit.

I know a house you could buy...

Craig would kill me if you lived out here 'cause we'd be too busy talking for me to get any work done.

No Punisher 50?! That's so wrong. Hope you get it soon. Nice list too. Good luck on the group therapy. If there was a group like that, it'd probably just turn into a new ComicCon in short order. If only we could get more people addicted - in a good way ;-)

Mark, that is a great idea! I will have to check it out as my library isn't very far from the comic shop.

I love your "color themed" list of books this week! I am overwhelmed by your coolness. :-)

Lisa, I am soooo tempted! If I didn't have a bunch of stuff going on through Christmas, I think I would be there!

Craig and Jim would roll their eyes and want to choke us, wouldn't they? We would have WAY too much fun!!

Eaglewing- I am crushed about Punisher Max #50 not being there last week. I was really looking forward to it. I am praying it will be there tomorrow!

As for comic rehab, I think you are right- it would turn into one big con! There would be guys in trench coats standing out front whispering "I have Batman for ya" and trying to upsell the price!!!
