I just got home from seeing War, the film starring Jason Statham and Jet Li. Overall, I really enjoyed the film, and was delighted with the twists and turns that made the ending a total surprise. The action was well choreographed, and there was an element of danger that resonated well. Both Statham and Li are seasoned action movie performers and that really came through here.
My only complaint is the jolt of the ending. I can see now that it is probably best serving to the film to leave viewers thinking, but my initial reaction was a bit of disappointment.
If you get a chance, go see War. It is a full throttle action film that is well worth the price of matinee admission which I relinquished.

Thanks for the review. I'd read some others round the 'net that weren't too promising, but I like both Jet Li and Statham and could go for a good action flick. Maybe I'll check it out on the coming long weekend...
Eaglewing, it is a perfect action flick for lovers of the medium. Li and Statham pull it off just right, running right to the edge of overacting, but not toppling over. :-)
