Probably because they're different. When we have a table at a furry convention, SO brings general stuff -- DVDs, comics, even old computers that he no longer wants -- and those items sell better than most of the furry-specific stuff we bring. He considers it a good opportunity to hold a mini-garage sale.
Sheryl- I noticed that! The smaller shows really do well when the folks involved bring something a bit different. My hubby was really out of place with his original art.
