Never seen the series, will soon though... Netflix!

Is it any good? I vaguely remember the series.

I spotted it as well. I didn't get into the show until it was almost over, so I have much catching up to do and tried to watch some of the reruns that have been on cable TV, but never have the time.

If the writer's strike goes on long then I might actually have the time to watch something like this.

Yo, Heidi!

I still think that the first four/five episodes of TP stand up against anything that's ever been shown on TV ...

It's funny that "Lynchian" is now an adjective that we can all use and understand. Though Lynch's style (and love for the awkward and strange) has been often imitated, it's never been equalled.

Nick, Twin Peaks is "crazy cool" at it's sinister finest. What started out as a relatively gritty premise turned into a surreal mind trip with a hook of "a damn fine cup of coffee" and the best pie around. If you get a chance, do check it out on Netflix. The mystery of who killed Laura Palmer is just too juicy for words!

Lisa, I was thinking the same thing! Asking for Twin Peaks for Christmas is potentially a great salvation.

I really recommend Twin Peaks though I do caution that it gets pretty trippy!!

Melchior, I agree. Lynch really did create something great in Twin Peaks. I like that you point out that his style has become a term used to describe this type of work. That is a wonderful point!

Twin Peaks is a fantastic journey that a person must take at least once in their life.
