Comic Book You Should be Reading: Daredevil

When Marvel rebooted Daredevil as part of Marvel Knights, I was skeptical. I was proven wrong time and time again as creators Kevin Smith, David Mack, Bob Gale, Brian Michael Bendis, and now Ed Brubaker have written incredible storylines every time. The art is gritty, and the tales are reminiscent of Frank Miller's run, which has been well deservedly homaged.

Today, Daredevil is at it's peak. Brubaker has taken the reins from Bendis and made a masterful book into perfection. The story is completely engrossing, to the point that I am pissed that I have to wait an entire month to see what is going to happen next. This is a must read title.

If you haven't gotten into Daredevil, now is the time. Pick up the last three issues if you can find them to see what I am talking about.

This is amazing stuff. Brubaker just keeps kicking ass. I can hardly wait to see how he is going to top this.

I think your post convinced me to try Daredevil. I just loved Brubaker on Sleeper, so it's good to hear he's keeping up the quality work.
