Then the 2008 Emerald City Comicon is for you.
I want to put a bug in your ear while it is still early enough to make plans. May 10 and 11, 2008 are the dates. Please put them on your calendar. ECCC is a fantastic show that is big enough to draw wonderful guests but small enough to have that intimate feel. Go check out their website for details.
I can't stress enough what a great show this is. Get your plane tickets, bus tickets, car rental, or pack mule reserved now. It will be worth it! If nothing else, check out this gorgeous piece of art by Tim Sale.
Did I mention that Seattle has incredibly excellent beer and fun places to go eat?

Nice art indeed. Is that how you calm Hulk down - give him comics and a bag of chips? World War Hulk could have so easily been avoided...
The Con sounds like a cool event, wish I could go to it. Unfortunately, my pack mule keeps breaking down and winds up in the shop and the Shetland Pony loaner they give me has a fear of crossing time zones and compensates with bouts of narcolepsy. It's a good thing he's close to the ground when he falls asleep or they'd charge for damages when I return it. So, yeah, no trips to the Emerald City, but I'll read your reviews of it.

Eaglewing, someday it would be awesome if you could make the trip! I totally understand though, as my pack mule doesn't cooperate worth a crap either. :-) I empathise!
