Celebrating Jim's Birthday

Today is my hubby's birthday, so we are doing celebration type things. We slept in and went to Red Robin for lunch. Then it was off to visit one of his friends and some grocery shopping. Now we are home and I am going to cook dinner tonight. It is pretty low key, but that is what he wanted.

I got him page 18 of Spider-Girl #85 for his birthday. He was really thrilled as it was a page he wanted. I was pretty happy because I was able to be sneaky and surprise him. I looked at his Comic Art Fans gallery to see what issues he was missing and then went to Catskill Comics and found a page. The fun part was that he was truly surprised and that makes it fun for both of us.

Tomorrow I am hoping to post an interview with the talented Ben Hansen. His Supergirl art that I posted a couple of months back got quite a few hits, confirming what I already knew. The guy is seriously talented.

In the meantime, have a wonderful evening!

Thank you for the kind words to Jim. He read them and is very touched. To extend his birthday, he is spending today relaxing and reading comics. It doesn't get much better then that!

Loren, happy belated birthday! Here's to many more!
