New Comics for January 17

It is a light week here at Comics Fairplay, and I couldn't be happier. With tight finances, I am going to be dropping several titles in the next few months, so only the best will survive. Heh.

Here is this week's list:

52 Week 37
Aquaman Sword of Atlantis #48
Birds of Prey #102
Catwoman #63
Helmet of Fate Detective Chimp #1
Y The Last Man #53
Girls #21
Exiles #90
She-Hulk 2 #15
Ultimate Spider-Man #104
Ultimate X-Men #78
Wisdom #2 (of 6)
Red Sonja Annual #1- excellent cover pictured

I am keeping it short and sweet tonight because my arms and shoulders are so sore from weight lifting. Yikes. I weighed myself tonight and I have lost 4 1/2 pounds since last Wednesday, so I am pretty psyched!

Have a wonderful evening. Hopefully tomorrow will bring Marvel musings and a typical rant.

Take care!

Wow! 4 1/2 pound in one week? That's great...keep it up!

It's a light week for me this week, too. Only "52" and "Green Lantern". I dumped a bunch of titles at year's end, so I don't buy a whole lot these days.

52 BEST ISSUE EVER!

Monday was slow here with the holiday and a bit of snow here, so I caught up and then just read #37. Loved it! It was one of the better ones in a while I thought. Finally one mystery is solved, things start to tie into the one-year-later gaps a bit better, and quite a cliff-hanger ending. I havn't had the time to read anything else yet today, since it's new book day and all, but this issue of 52 was definately one of the better ones in a while.

Mark, it has been fun this first week of going every day. I normally go about 2 or 3 times a week, so all these extra days of exercise and eating right are working. Yay! Thank you for the encouragement!

You were smart to drop several titles. I am in the process of doing the same, so I am trying to follow your example! I just can't afford it at the price of comics today.

Take care!

Lisa, that is wonderful to hear! I am going to go sit down when I am done here and read it. What exciting news!

I hope the snow isn't giving you too much trouble. It was really icy here today, so it was quite treacherous!

Thank you for the heads up!
