All I have to say is this.
Damn.
Bryan Hitch isn't afraid to show off the goods.

Yeah, Bryan's one of the exceptions, along with folks like Phil Jimenez and Sal Velluto. My friend Leah Adezio and I used to pick out which artists could actually draw decent packages (i.e., males as though their anatomy actually existed), and those two artists really, um, stood out for us.
Elayne, I love the fact that you and your friend did that! There were some boring Saturdays at our friend Ben's shop when his wife and I would try our hand at a similar game.
Thank you for mentioning Phil and Sal. I had almost forgotten at their skills in that area!
Heh, we used to emphasize the "l"s, draw them out, like "Phillll Jimenez!" and "Sallll Velluto!" I think we even told Sal about that when we saw him at a convention. (I may have also mentioned it to Phil at another time; if so I'm sure I blushed.) Phil of course has no hang-up issues about drawing reasonable male anatomy, being gay; Sal explained that the reason he has no hang-ups about it is because he's European. :)
Elayne, I just love hearing about this! Their reasoning is fantastic!
I have had the pleasure of meeting Phil twice at different conventions and would love to see him again. He is a sweet heart, and I really enjoy talking with him.
Sal is someone I would love to meet at a con someday, so I will cross my fingers.
Thank you for that!
