Happy Tonight!

I just weighed myself at the gym and I finally lost more weight. My total weight loss is 17 1/2 pounds and I am so pleased that I can hardly stand it. These last couple of pounds have been hard to lose, so it feels extra gratifying.

Now if I could just lose a couple more and hit the magic "20" mark. You know I am not stopping now! My goal for the 12 week contest is a total weight loss of 30 pounds, and I am tracking pretty closely as tomorrow is the 7 week mark. It would be really nice to go to Emerald City Comicon at that weight, feeling slimmer and trimmer.

That's it for tonight. I was just so happy I had to share!

Have a great evening!

That's big league news Heidi, CONGRATS! Keep up the good work, and remember even though you're doing the challenge, remember it's about a fitter you overall and not just the poundage! You're doin' great!

Fantastic, Heidi! Isn't it great how the momentum just keeps growing, like a snowball rolling down a hill? Sure, there'll be plateaus and set-backs along the way (which you've no doubt already experienced), but that 20 lbs. is within your reach, with 30 just down the road. Keep up the great progress, and before you know it, you'll be lugging those comic book long boxes around like feather pillows!

Good work! I gave up on the whole weight loss thing as She-Hulk wouldn’t give a rats ass about me regardless... *sniff*

But you should be proud of all the hard work you are doing!

Wohoo!! High Five! I've been sitting on a plateau myself, but don't lose faith! You can do it! Heck, if *I* can lose as much weight as I have, you should be able to as well. There's nothing special about me.

Congrats!!!

We finally got our machine together and I've worked out on it a couple of times, but it was more to get the feel for it and how it works than anything else. Next week will be the official start - I have to go to the grocery store and get some "real" food too.

Thank you so much for the well-wishes! It really means a lot to me, and keeps me motivated more then ever to make this change in my life.

Bahlactus, you are one of my inspirations. I am really impressed with your dedication, and hope that I can be in there with you getting fitter for a long time to come.

Mark- I am waiting for a plateau, but so far I haven't had one. I am wondering if it is all the changing up of my work outs? Thank you for the kind words.

She-Hulk's Bitch- I am just trying to get as lean and mean as Shulkie. God knows she can kick some serious butt.

Laura- you are my other inspiration! I am so proud of you, and am looking forward to seeing you at Emerald City. You have been so dedicated, and have done very well. Don't discount your efforts. I am really impressed!

Lisa, I am glad to hear that your machine is working. You are doing well for such a busy lady! Keep me updated!

Ragnell and John- thank you so much for the kindnes. It means so much to me.

I will keep you all posted. My next big milestone is 20 pounds then 25, so hopefully it will go my way.
