52 Week 42: A Fantastic Read

52 Week 42: A Fantastic Read

Wow. I just got done reading 52 Week 42 and it is absolutely amazing. How do I talk about it without spoiling it? Very carefully...

Issue 42 focuses on the helm of Fate and gives Ralph Dibny the opportunity of a lifetime. Boy does he take it. I have never been fonder and more emotional towards the character of Elongated Man then I am now. Unfortunately it took breaking up a perfect union and a long journey to get to this point, but the ride was worth the price of admission.

All the cynics out there who have been unhappy with 52 need to check this issue out. Featuring beautiful art by Darick Robertson, the book is pure entertainment.

I know this is a quick one, but I really wanted to put out there that 52 Week 42 is not to be missed. Go pick that sucker up and give it a read, already!

I have not read it yet, but will today - or at least that's the plan. My husband Craig read it already and said it was one of the best issues so far.

I think as these last few weeks come out things are really really going to get good!

Weight machine update - still not finished setting it up. Getting closer: FINALLY have all of the pully systems in and working. Hopefully by Monday we'll actually be able to work out on the darn thing.

Lisa, this week's 52 is wonderful. You will have to let me know if you agree. I am glad to hear that Craig enjoyed it!

Your weight machine is quite the challenge. Wow, it sounds like there are an awful lot of parts. I know that once it is set up it will be so worth it, but I know that the upfront time is murderous.
Keep me updated!

Take care Lisa!

I did enjoy 52 #42! These story lines at the series ends are really getting good, and this was one of the better ones.

Lisa, I am so glad you enjoyed it! I loved it and actually think I read it about three times before putting it with the rest of my issues in my long box. I felt it was an excellent portrayal of Ralph.

As the series gets closer to an end, I just get more and more excited. It is really turning out well!
