I just realized that on February 25 there will be a comic show in Seattle. It is the Seattle Comicard Show, an intimate event that always features quality guests and excellent selection of product.
Guests include:
Ben Hansen - artist, Dark Powers
Chris Anderson - artist, Void Xanadu
Greg Dent - writer, Void Xanadu
Rick Hobert - artist, Winter Soldier and Batman Family
Stefano Gaudiano - artist, Winter Soldier, Batman Family, and Daredevil
Also, QEW Publishing will be there doing portfolio reviews and having a presence.
I am really excited about this. I just don't know if we are going to make it over there or not. I would love to see Ben, who I was fortunate enough to do a Q&A with last week. Also, it is always heaven to see Quenton and the gang.
The convention is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Rainier Room at the Seattle Center. Are any of you planning to attend?

Doesn't look like Eric and I will make it. Not only is that the day after an Androgums party, so we'll be tired and cleaning up, but we're already about $400 in the hole this month and can't afford even little trips out like that.
I think my next convention of any type will be Emerald City.
Laura, I know how you feel. We don't have the spending money to attend either, so I am really torn on if it is worth it to make the trip.
Emerald City is something we budgeted for a long time ago. Alas, Seattle show is not.
I just can't decide. Sigh.
I will look forward to seeing you at Emerald City at least!
Greg, if we make the trip, we will look for you and Julie and your group of kids there. It sounds like you are quite busy as it is!
We shall play it by ear then. If we go, I will make sure and holler.
Take care!
