Up until now, I haven't explored the world of DVD's related to comic books or the world of manga in general in this particular segment, but my good bud Britt of Tripping the Life Fanatic hooked me up with a sweet link that took me to this cover.
Wow.
Just going to the site about the DVD was enough to make me gasp, but checking out the cover of the DVD set brought it home. As a comic book reader who isn't very familiar with anime, my first question is this: does this image reflect the general feel of a anime portrayal of a female character? Seriously. I don't know.
What I do know is that this appears to be quite suggestive. Following the advent of the original Witchblade lady Sara Pezzini, Masane Amaha has the same problem with ripped clothes. The site says this about the character and the DVD set up:

Good Lord. This character has been through hell and all I can think about is the fact that her tongue is licking her weapon. That seems a tad unconventional.
What can you tell me about this character and her portrayal? I have shied away from the Witchblade franchise as a candidate here as a rule, but this is fresh and different to me. Go check out the site and give this pic a gander.

Another Week: Another Shortage
There is some good news here at Comics Fairplay. Comics were on time. I got the Black Canary/Green Arrow Wedding special and Captain America #30 like clockwork. Almost all my other comics were there too, except for World War Hulk #4.
My retailer was shorted seven copies of the book so she was three short for files, including mine. Jim got his copy, but I didn't get one as she was trying to spread them around. The Diamond invoice billed them for 22 copies, but they only got 15. This means I will not be reading World War Hulk #4 this week.
It isn't a major deal, but it is just another example of the "same old crap" that I have come to expect on a weekly basis.
The good news is that I got the Black Canary/Green Arrow "'Til Death Do Us Part" trade paperback and it looks excellent. That will help compensate for the WW Hulk shortage. I can expect my copy next week.
Interestingly, I have read the Wedding Special twice because I keep trying to figure out what it is I feel is missing. It just doesn't feel right to me. It seemed rushed and choppy. I give points to Amanda Conner for her art, but otherwise am underwhelmed. At this point in time, I am convinced that this whole wedding thing is just another plot device in DC's "countdown" to final crisis. The poster for Countdown and the way this played out are telling signs of this.
At any rate, I am going to go sit and relax now and enjoy the books I did get. I have my health and a pretty decent life, so if the worst thing that happened is not getting a comic book, I will be okay. The fangirl in me is a bit uppity, but I am going to medicate her with adult beverages this weekend.

Final Crisis- Theories About Repairing the Amazons
Tonight I get home and check out DC's Previews for December. In it, I see that in Green Arrow/Black Canary #3, "Black Canary and Green Arrow conclude their mission on Paradise Island and are stunned to find out what's really been going on there - and just who's been behind the kidnapping of their missing friend!"
For whatever reason, this made things start to click in my brain. I decided that rather then be irritated at Amazons Attack that I would do a Ralph Dibny and try and solve the mystery that lies therein. Surely this will be healthier for me than ranting, right?
At this point in time, the Amazons are captured and Hyppolyta appears to be the lone person on the island. In the meantime, Wonder Woman is off having her crush on Nemesis for the next few months until Gail Simone takes the book over and recharges the Amazing Amazon's batteries with a killer tale.
Over in Countdown, Holly from Catwoman and Harley Quinn are going to compete to go to Paradise Island. Does this mean that Granny Goodness has a nefarious scheme and that the Athena in the story isn't as she appears? Is this a plot to make a new army of furies that will help Granny take over? I am starting to wonder....
Where does Mary Marvel fit into this? Is she being recruited to join the furies? Or is Eclipso in her future. From the Countdown poster, it appears she will be teaming up with Granny and her girls. If the "new amazons" from Countdown are being brought in to repopulate the island, and super heroines are coming in, it makes me think that Granny wants to take over the world.
The piece of the puzzle that I don't know about is where Granny fits in with Desaad, Darkseid, and the Gods of New Genesis. That is evidently where "Death of the New Gods" fits in. Whatever Jim Starlin has in store is sure to help get this crew aimed into Countdown heading to the Final Crisis. With Grant Morrison writing FC, and with his take on the Fourth World characters in Seven Soldiers, this means a new paradigm to be sure.
Coming back to Black Canary, my main curiosity comes into who she is going to rescue. Any thoughts on that? I am not sure at this point, but am wondering if Mia will end up there. It is a thought.
The Amazons being held captive must somehow escape and get vengeance. I am thinking this will also happen in Final Crisis. Their Gods aren't just going to sit around and be held captive without a plan of some kind. That is where I am a bit lost as well. Will Diana work that angle in her book? That would be cool, since the first story arc by Simone is appearing to explore the night of her genesis. Where does the Fourth World fit into this? Do they even bother with Diana?
I got issue one of the Wonder Girl mini-series and see she is teaming up with Heracles there. Does that mean that Cassie and the demi-god will come into play in releasing the Amazons? It is a sound bet. How did Champion/Hercules/Heracles get freed up if there is chaos on Olympus? I am hoping that the mini-series will delve into this.
My theory is that the Amazons will work with Diana and the gods of Olympus towards a release and a vengeance. I would love to see Ares and Zeus clash with Darkseid and Desaad. I also think it is time for Athena and Artemis to kick some Granny ass. Since Hyppolyta is back, I am hoping to see a big comeback and redemption of the Amazon Queen. She has long been a favorite of mine, and I am anxious to see how she fits in.
Circe is the other character that comes into play. How will she scheme this time? It sounds like Simone will cover this as well. I can hardly wait!

New Comics for September 19
Today was a busy day at work, but a good one. I don't mind keeping busy; in fact I prefer it. It makes the day go faster and keeps my mind sharp. The fact that the weather was gorgeous didn't hurt either. Hopefully you had a nice day as well!
My list of new books is once again ugly. I am trying to be better about my selections, so when I filled out November Previews, I was pretty choosy. Jim cut back as well, so we are trying not to be tied to buying every crossover tie-in. Hopefully this will help assuage feelings of anger at the industry in the future.

Quick Take Reviews for September 16
Because of the Labor day holiday weekend and traveling back East, I am really behind on reviews. To be honest, I haven’t read all of the last two week’s books. Part of them I just skimmed, and part of them I read because of curiosity or need. Because of this, I am trying to condense this group of reviews into the simplest form for me. There are things that need to be said, so I am going to be brief and talk about the good and the bad. Having said that, here we go…. It’s review time.
Black Canary Wedding Planner: In which Black Canary and some dude with red hair who could be Green Arrow prepare for marriage.
The good: the Takeshi’s Castle reference. It made me smile gleefully, as it reminded me of MXC, the show that used to air on Spike frequently.
The bad: the characters seemed, well, out of character. Canary would have had Barbara coordinate the whole thing most likely. They are best friends after all. Vixen and Diana seemed thrown in for the sake of the JLA connection. Where was Mia and Connor?
Summary: Cute. As someone who has been a bride, I wasn’t sold on it, but it had it’s moments.
Y The Last Man #58: I literally could not breathe after turning the last page of this book. 355 meets her fate as the book winds towards it’s conclusion with issue #60.
The good: The dialogue between 355 and Yorick. I also enjoyed the build up of tension that happened with the supporting characters. This book is definitely going out with a bang.
The bad: 355’s fate. I am a sad camper.
Summary: This is the quality I have been craving. Between Y and 100 Bullets, I am getting my faith back. Good stuff.
Infinity Inc. #1: Steel and Natasha form a team from the ashes of Luthor’s aforenamed unit.
The good: I like Steel and Natasha.
The bad: This book was jumbled. I couldn’t quite get a flow going. There was too much going on and the tone was not at all what I expected. I was disappointed.
Summary: Not a good start. I am going to pick up issue 2 and hope for improvements.
Amazing Spider-Man #544: One More Day starts here. Now is the time to find out if Mary Jane goes away and if Aunt May bites it. Evidently Marvel is taking Peter back to basics and I am not a happy camper.
The good: The Iron Man throwdown and Jarvis’s contribution.
The bad: The art was not Quesada’s best. The noses kept me cringing, and I repeatedly wondered why a man who already has a job couldn’t have hired someone who actually needed one to do the work. The art would have been much better to be sure.
Summary: The descent begins here. Madness or gladness? I don’t know.
Justice League of America Wedding Special: Wherein the Injustice League starts up with a bang and a few pages are devoted to stag night and a bachelorette party.
The good: Dwaine McDuffie’s excellent scripting. Mike McKone and Andy Lanning’s superb artwork. This book really made me happy in most respects.
The bad: there wasn’t much party in the issue, so I felt a bit misled.
Summary: The next JLA story arc is shaping up to be a great one. McDuffie is poised to bring a sweet tale to the masses, and I can’t wait!
Booster Gold #2: The title character must help Guy Gardner in an unexpected way.
The good: This is good old fashioned story telling I have been craving. Jurgens and Rapmund bring it all home with excellent art. I think Geoff Johns has been secretly dying to write Booster and just didn’t want to tell us all. I love this book.
The bad: I honesly don’t have any quibbles. I am in love.
Summary: A nice surprise from DC. This is a must read.
The New Avengers #34: The team must find out if any of them are Skrulls. Much divisiveness and clever dialogue ensues.
The good: Bendis made a believer out of me with this issue’s excellent story. He reminded me why he is considered such a great story teller. Jessica and Luke’s interaction sold it for me.
The bad: I am not a huge fan of Leinel Yu’s art.
Summary: One of the better issues since Civil War. Maybe this Skrull thing won’t make me too angry.
Suicide Squad: From the Ashes #1: Turn back the clock two years, folks. It is time to take a trip pre-Crisis to see how the Squad got to where it was today.
The good: Amanda Waller. I love that character, and her portrayal here is spot-on. I also got a bit misty when I saw Javier Pina and Robin Riggs’ art in this issue. It made me miss Manhunter and their fantastic work on that book. I am happy to see them back together here.
The bad: I wish I knew more Suicide Squad back story. I never read the book back in the day.
Summary: This is another excellent book from DC. Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, and the gang are back for one last tango.

Radar Magazine Names Blogging as Overrated
As a subscriber to Radar Magazine since it's auspicious beginnings, I have had many a good chuckle and even felt a bit enlightened at times. The magazine is irreverent, no-B.S., and filled with interesting information. It has covered everything from Tom Cruise's odd behavior to a behind the scenes look at how the soldiers fare in Iraq.
When I received the new issue in the mail today I expected no less then an excellent read. The cover featuring Becks and Posh was a sure sign that "overrated" people and things were going to be taken to task. I thought it was pretty cool until I realized that Blogging was being taken to task as one of those things. The quote by Erica Jong is as follows:
"Blogging is vanity. Like loving the smell of your own farts. Like not only tasting your menstrual blood, but making bloody thumbprints and buying gold-leafed frames in which to display them. But the truth is, not everything you think is worth publishing. Not everyone's opinion matters. How to distinguish a "pundit" from a gasbag? Impossible! On television, they yell and posture. On blogs, they are equally puffed up with self-importance. Only blog if you can make others laugh. This includes laughing at yourself."
Pretty heavy stuff, huh? After my initial astonishment at reading the whole "menstrual blood" comment, I really had to consider what Ms. Jong said. Certainly she had to be referring to bloggers other then me, right? Hmmmm...
Probably not.
That being said, I know that there are a dirth of people who blog about comic books and the genre in general. What sets us apart from the general statement about blogging being made? Is it the fact that we are being more specific about our references? Is it that we are each fulfilling a need in ourselves by not staying silent? What is it that drives us?
I can only speak for myself, but I know exactly why I blog. I feel passionate about my "hobby". It is important to me to make my thoughts known, even if no one else will read them. Lately I have been finding myself blogging to find out what others think as well, and to foster discussion. I feel a sense of community with many of the people I interact with, and I feel blessed with their presence. I know that others don't always agree with me, but I have always stated the importance of the First Amendment right of free speech, even though it sometimes hurts.
So that is why I blog.
Either that, or I am a self-deluded sociopath. Heh.
I am going to go with reason "A".
That being said, the comment by Ms. Jong really got me thinking. What about you? What is your response to her words? Is Radar Magazine right? Is blogging overrated?

Pretty heavy stuff, huh? After my initial astonishment at reading the whole "menstrual blood" comment, I really had to consider what Ms. Jong said. Certainly she had to be referring to bloggers other then me, right? Hmmmm...
Probably not.
That being said, I know that there are a dirth of people who blog about comic books and the genre in general. What sets us apart from the general statement about blogging being made? Is it the fact that we are being more specific about our references? Is it that we are each fulfilling a need in ourselves by not staying silent? What is it that drives us?
I can only speak for myself, but I know exactly why I blog. I feel passionate about my "hobby". It is important to me to make my thoughts known, even if no one else will read them. Lately I have been finding myself blogging to find out what others think as well, and to foster discussion. I feel a sense of community with many of the people I interact with, and I feel blessed with their presence. I know that others don't always agree with me, but I have always stated the importance of the First Amendment right of free speech, even though it sometimes hurts.
So that is why I blog.
Either that, or I am a self-deluded sociopath. Heh.
I am going to go with reason "A".
That being said, the comment by Ms. Jong really got me thinking. What about you? What is your response to her words? Is Radar Magazine right? Is blogging overrated?

Is This Gratuitous? Cover to Superman/Batman #40
After a short hiatus from my "gratuitous" feature, I am back with a new candidate. It was actually a pretty easy selection as I am still surprised at what I see.
Superman/Batman is usually more action driven, and I am used to seeing covers that reflect that. What caught my attention after getting used to the provocative pose was the fact that the cover appears to be either a "fold over" like Mad Magazine used to have, or the artist used a mirror image on both sides to give symmetry. Either way, this cover has a shock value.
Normally I don't associate Batman with a hot and bothered look like this, so that makes it even more surprising. Dustin Nguyen is an artist that I have always appreciated for his flow. I didn't recognize this as his work at first. It just doesn't fit what I find to be his "norm". Maybe that could be a good thing? Maybe not??
I am fearful that my local retailer is going to hide this behind the counter when it comes out. The pose gives off a definite sexual vibe, and the weaponry just sends it home. I will let you know if my retailer does indeed hide it.
On that note, I am asking for your valuable opinion once again.

Emerald City Comicon Announcement
I know that convention season is winding down, and several of you may be experiencing a bit of burn out, but consider this if you will. Next year, the Emerald City Comicon will be held May 10 and 11, 2008 in fabulous Seattle, Washington. Jim and I would love to see you there, and it is still plenty early to start saving money and making plans. If you haven't been out West for awhile, or are just wanting to have a smaller con experience with all the flavor of a big show, this is the show for you.

100 Bullets #85 Provides an Incredible Read
Wow.
I just got done reading 100 Bullets #85 and it absolutely blew my mind. The story being told in it shocked me and pleased me at the same time. Writer Brian Azzarello and artist Eduardo Risso set the gold standard with a stand alone tale that every fan of the title will appreciate.
The fact that the story gave a female empowerment of sorts was icing on the cake for me. One of the most wicked characters in the book gets schooled and it is about damn time. The female in question was a character I didn't see ever coming back, and her presence thrilled me. I wanted to cheer when I was done reading the last page.
If you haven't been reading 100 Bullets, you are missing out on a quality read. It isn't just a thriller. It isn't just a drama. It is complex and action packed, with an air of mystery and story threads that are paced just right. This is the book I can't wait to read when I see it on the pull list. It is that good.
Issue #85 reminded me why I love comic books so much. Great story telling and fantastic sequential art like this make the medium appeal to me again and again.
So Mature readers out there, go start reading 100 Bullets, okay?

Going to a Wedding.. Our Trip to Delaware!
As you may know, Jim and I went to his brother's wedding last Saturday. Jim went out for a week and I followed the Thursday before. We had a very nice time seeing his family and it went all too quickly.
When I got there Thursday night, Jim and the bride and groom met me at the Philadelphia Airport. They took us to Jim's parent's house and left for the night as it was well past 11 p.m. Jim and I caught up a bit and went to sleep.
The next day my sorry butt slept in until after 11 a.m. East Coast time. I was a bit disoriented as that was 8 a.m. back home. As a consequence, Jim and I didn't eat very much until that evening. I had a wonderful afternoon catching up with Jim's folks. That night we met up with Jim's sister and her gorgeous daughter Carly who was a flower girl. We went to the rehearsal and the dinner. It was a nice night.
Saturday dawned and we had the wedding to get ready for. Jim's brother Tom was coming over to get ready with his groomsmen, so we wanted to be awake and alert. Since Jim was an attendant, he got his tuxedo out so he could be ready. The boys went and got WaWa subs for everyone and it was soooo good! I am now a convert to their meatball subs for sure. After that it was time to get dressed up.
I left with Jim's parents and went over to Tom's house where the wedding was being held in the backyard. As you can see by the picture, it was a gorgeous scene. My only quibble is that it was 88 degrees and humid, so my west coast butt was sweating up a storm! We got there an hour early for pictures and then it was time to begin. At 4 p.m. the groom and his guys headed down the aisle and then it was the ladies turn. The bride looked lovely as she walked with her father. Our niece Carly was sweet and we gushed like crazy about her as well.
The ceremony was short but lovely and then the wedding party went off for pictures. I went with Jim's family to the reception in downtown Wilmington. There was a cocktail hour and then the bride, groom, and their attendants made a grand entrance. It was class all the way as we dined on prime rib and relaxed together.
After dinner, Jim came down and sat with me and we watched the dances begin. Tom and his bride Jen did a wonderful dance. Then it was time for the father-daughter and mother-son dances. It was awesome to behold.
Then came the incredible surprise hit of the night. Jim's dad Frank and his sister Eveline did an awe-inspiring dance to a Frank Sinatra tune. They showed why they used to win so many dance contests back in the 1950's. They really tore it up, and we watched with open mouthed amazement! Everyone was really blown away.
Before the reception was over, I was able to dance with my hubby a few times. Jim is a much better dancer then I am, so I followed his lead. We had a lot of fun and watched the cake cutting and bouquet and garter toss with glee. It made us happy to be off the market as we watched. We agreed that getting out of those events was one of the best perks of marriage, as I have bad memories of having to try and catch bouquets when I was single. Humiliating!
After the reception ended, we headed to a casino with Jim's sister and her fiance'. We gambled the slots and ate a late dinner. It was so much fun to go there dressed up and watch the other folks stare. We really enjoy hanging with them, so that made it even better.
After 1 a.m., we finally left and went back to their house. We fell into bed around 2 a.m. and woke up at 10:30 a.m. knowing we had to leave. Sunday was here.
Luckily, we were able to meet up with Jim's family for a lunch of sorts at IHOP. We tore into our food and enjoyed being together. It was with great sadness that we ended up back in Philly at the airport. We didn't want to leave.
We got back home late Sunday night and fell into bed without unpacking our suitcases. I ended up working a half day Monday so I didn't get laundry done until last night. I didn't feel too jet lagged until tonight and now I am dragging big time. Hopefully this means I will sleep well and get used to my own time zone again.
Thank you to Jim's family for their hospitality, and regards to all the great folks we chatted with at the wedding. It was a beautiful day filled with heart warming memories. We enjoyed our trip and our only regret is not being able to somehow fit the Baltimore Comicon into our schedule. Maybe next year?

I haven't looked at any of it as I ended up working a half day (something I was happy to do) and had to do laundry and stuff. Random Thoughts and Musings
It is Wednesday already! The holiday makes the week go so damn fast! Tomorrow I hop a plane to the East Coast for Jim's brother's wedding. My good friend Kerry is going to watch our place so I will have peace of mind here.
I just have to figure out how to go to this very important wedding and also try and figure out how to make an appearance at the Baltimore Comicon....
In hindsight, Jim and I should have checked the con schedule before making plans, but it didn't even enter our minds. Being the total West Coast girl I am, it took me until today to put the pieces together and realize we could have worked something out. To be so close to the action and not go is painful! I am keeping in perspective how important this wedding is, and how that needs to be the focus..
But man, it would be fun!
In Wonder Woman news, I have had some friends with blogs give their takes on their favorite stories.
The wonderful Lisa at Sequentially Speaking relates a story that is dear to my heart as well. She recounts the "Eyes of the Gorgon" story with grace and skill. Go check it out!
Over at Atomic Romance, Swinebread makes me smile with his take on the Amazing Amazon. You have got to read this!!
Tomorrow is comic book day and I will not even be there to pick them up. They will have to wait until Monday. It is ironic to think that most of the time they rule my week and that this week it is like throwing caution to the wind. Not much I can do about it, so I am not going to get too stirred up over it. Big change of attitude from last week, huh?
Not much more to tell tonight. I am going to pack and get my ducks in a row so that when Kerry comes by tomorrow I am ready for him. Take care and please find me a teleportation beam so I can figure out how to go to the wedding and the show!

I have a question for my East Coast friends. As a preface, I am not very familiar with distances between cities on the Eastern side of this wonderful country. However, if you asked me how far it was between Seattle and Portland, I could be helpful.

New Comics for September 6
It is another wonderful week here at Comics Fairplay. We made it through a Tuesday after a major holiday at work with minimum of troubles. In fact, it was a nice day, with cooler temperatures and it made things more pleasant in general.
Since comics are out on Thursday, I am running a day late. This week's list is pretty large but not as bad as next week's list will be. I am dreading that one. I looked at our Previews and was shocked at how much we ordered. This next one we are turning in will be much smaller.

Labor Day- Getting Ready for a Wedding
As you may have noticed on my "twitter" updates, I have sent Jim on a trip to see his family. His brother is getting married next Saturday and he is a groomsman. I am really glad that he gets to spend a whole week there with his parents and siblings, as I think it will be relaxing and fun.
In the meantime, I stayed home because I am working. Today I have worked in my yard and cleaned a bit. Otherwise, I am pondering having a beer and watching either Sex and the City or Heroes on DVD. Tomorrow is work as usual, so I may as well take the last few hours and relax.

Bonus Favorite Story: Wonder Woman #170
Wonder Woman has long had a friendly rivalry of sorts with Lois Lane for Superman's affections, so I have always found issue #170 of the second volume of the Wonder Woman series to be quite fascinating. Caught in the aftermath of the Amazon civil war, with Diana seeking to continue her mission in man's world, she finds herself spending "a day in the life" with said woman reporter.
Written by Joe Kelly and Phil Jimenez, with astounding art by Jimenez, the tale never ceases to amaze me. Lois is suspicious by nature, and her portrayal here is dead on. What makes her such a great reporter also makes her a tad ruthless when it comes to Diana. On the other hand, Diana is trying to wade past recent events to establish a place for herself. With the abolition of the monarchy on Paradise Island, she is no longer a princess, and the lack of tiara makes Lois' reporter radar go off like crazy.

My Favorite Wonder Woman Story Arc: The Justice League Trials
When I first started reading Wonder Woman back in 1974, the first issue I picked up was #214. Green Lantern Hal Jordan was the "host" of the issue as the Justice League member monitoring the mission. Even cooler, there were several back issue reprints in the book. I read the comic at least 50 times until the cover finally came groaning off. That is serious comic book love.
The point to this is that I still find that the "Justice League" trials are my favorite story arc. As many of you know, Wonder Woman gave up her powers and got a bunch of groovy mini dress and Emma Peel style catsuits to fight crime in. She and mentor I-Ching traveled the world and Steve Trevor was murdered. A-list fan Gloria Steinem protested the change in the first issue of "Ms. Magazine" and Diana was restored to full power quickly and somewhat fuzzily.
The Justice League was ready to welcome back Diana with open arms, but she wanted to prove herself. She asked the JLA to monitor her activities to make sure she was still worthy of her position on the team. Much like Heracles centuries earlier, Wonder Woman wanted to win her place.
What followed in issues #213 to #222 was a very unique experience. Each issue, a member of the JLA would secretly monitor Wonder Woman's crime fighting to make sure she was worthy. I loved the individual narration, and the unique take each character had. With editor Julius Schwartz begrudgingly onboard, the book took on an entirely new tone of confidence.
It was a breath of fresh air. I see that now.
Prior to the trials, Wonder Woman had lost her way. She had been through so much and it was time to make her the star she should have been. Back at full fighting strength, Diana took her life back and in the process gained the admiration of her fellow leaguers. I especially loved the mission that Black Canary monitored, in issue #216. In my mind it was an early glimpse of the ultimate feminine potential. Both women were at their finest, and men were put on notice. The dialogue of that book really gets me to this day.
I would love DC to put out a trade paperback of this story arc. It holds up today as a masterpiece of sorts. There is a definite sense of watching history being made here, and as many moments in time, it didn't stay the same very long. Soon after Diana had many doubts resurface and went through another turn of life events. She lost her title and became and astronaut, but that is a story for another time...
Wonder Woman has been through a lot. She will always be my favorite superheroine. She has stood the test of time. Though I might not always like her current state, I know she will always be there.

Challenge: Name Your Favorite Wonder Woman Story
Okay, I have been watching the internet the last few days and am really shocked and disappointed that everyone seems to think they are the only one with a correct opinion about the Amazons Attack storyline. It has gone beyond the ridiculous and I want to throw down a gauntlet of peace.
In the interest of a more communal feeling, I want to hear what your favorite Wonder Woman story of all time has been and hear a bit of back story about it. If you want to make it a meme and take it to your "place of business" that is great. If you want to post a comment, that works as well.
How about instead of dwelling on the things we are awaiting closure on, we take a look back on what has made us love the Amazing Amazon.
