Kirk found a shiny dime on the floor today when he picked me up from work. It was heads-up! if a penny means good luck, a dime must be ten times as good, huh? Well, in any case, I am sending good thoughts, wishes and whatever good luck we have your way, Heidi.

Kirk's dad retired about 2 weeks ago and it seems the worst thing going on in chez jarvinen is a fight over his mother buying two lazy boy chairs instead of one. Won't it be grand when we can look back on our married lives after 30 0r 40 yrs and still find something to spark a fight over! I think they should have bought a boxing ring instead of the lazy boys.

anyway... okay so think "10" (because of the dime), and maybe this bad luck will run its course over the next 10 days. I'll be watchin and hopin for ya!

Comics related good news/good things:

(1) The She-Hulk is back!

(2) Wednesday always brings new comics!

(3) Following Infinite Crisis as monthly entertainment. (Even if it disappoints, I'm enjoying the process.)

(4) Seeing what Grant Morrison will do next.

(5) Ditto for Ed Brubaker, (I really enjoyed Captain America number 11), and Gail Simone.

(6) Did I mention that the She-Hulk is back?

That is so funny about Kirk's dad and mom! I hope that is the worst argument Jim and I have in our golden years!! Thank you so much for the well wishes- I appreciate them very much.

I will keep you updated, and hopefully all the things I tell you will be happy things!

Melchior, that is the coolest list ever! Amen to those good things, especially She-Hulk being back!

Like I said, hopefully my luck is changing, especially with the lucky dime Kirk found!

Take care!
