Commercial Break: How Cool is This?

The other good news is that the Tony in this movie has hopefully never heard of Civil War or ran S.H.I.E.L.D. I am ready for some old school Iron Man.

Quick Side Note: Tomorrow is my "get in shape" weigh in, so I will be home late. I will see you Friday! Have a great one!

I hate to be the Dr. Smith of the Comics Fairplay Jupiter 2, but nope, it's part of the boycott. I've told my friends I will see it if they want to, but someone's got to cough up green and buy me a ticket. Or I will buy a ticket for another movie and see Iron Man instead. Everyone keeps questioning my "iron will" and it's like they never met someone from the hills of Kentucky; we say something, we damned well mean it. My last Marvel purchase was the first issue of Thor since I did want to read it after he got screwed in Sybil War. Since then, that's it, no Cap/Steve Rogers and then try to sell us some jerk in a new costume with a knife and a gun! Just cut loose The Punisher, sell him to DC and I'd never worry about reading another book from the worst company currently in the business...

Good luck on the weigh-in, I know you will do well.
Also, on a side note, my computer decided he didn't like the looks of 2008 and packed it in on NYE. So, I'm on the bride's pc, having a time getting here, sharing with 3 females, sheesh! I'm waiting for the cat to start demanding her alloted time next. Anyway, hope all is well, see you on the flip side...

I will see this movie at least twice in the theater (maybe three times). I may even suprise my wife or daughter by redecorating bedrooms with Ironman bedsheets. I will also buy the bluray dvd four months later.

Since the Iron Man movie seems to be a celebration of all that was GOOD about the character, I'll be the first one in line. What a great image you posted, Heidi. Can't wait for this thing.

When Robert Downey Jr was picked as Tony, I knew this was going to be a good flick.

Carl, that is okay. You can boycott. I am just hoping that one of your friends buy you a ticket because it does look cool!

Thank you for the well wishes!

I am really impressed you are sticking to your guns on your Marvel boycott. Nice one!

Mark, the image really got me. I couldn't believe how great the armor has translated. That was one of my worries.

Hopefully I will be right there with you up at the front of the line. This movie looks incredible!
